8.1.7 client on RH AS 2.1
Installation of ORACLE client 8.1.7 went OK till Network configuration was
started, then it hangs. I killed hanging jre and installation completed
successfully with warning. Then I configured SQL*Net manually. Checked
SQL*Plus, can connect to all configured DB (on other server).
When I tried to startup OUI from disk to apply 8.1.7.4 patchset (I installed
OUI as well) it just hangs. However, from CD it runs fine, patchset was
applied successfully.
Now Java related stuff does not workat all.
Anybody had this kind of problem or has a solution?
