Do rational explanations work with that chain? Hmm.

I'm sure Oracle is trying to convince potential customers that they have better security than Microsoft. If you are a CIO who has been plagued with Microsoft vulnerabilities, these features may sound really good. For those of us who haven't been plagued with security vulnerabilities, these don't look so appealing. Hopefully we can turn off some of these features and provide a rational explanation to the management chain.

Did find out that it will automatically download and install all patches and OEM will allow it to be scheduled so that you don't actually have to do anything. I think the boy who demoed that said it was a wonderful new feature.

So, did you get to see Oracle 10 in action at the IOUG?
I wasn't there, but am curious.
Patrice.
