It looks Oracle has gotten a hold of some of the scripts we already run (like tablespace free space reporting) and put them into OEM. Maybe this is in deference to the Misguided Microsoft Multitudes (feel free to expand that even more) who feel an OS devoid of decent scripting tools is to be preferred. Just like, in 1492, the earth ended at its edge; the MMM's believe all computer functionality ends at the edge of the GUI. I think Oracle is just catering to that belief. Shame on us ministers of the gospel for backsliding and failing to convert the world from the EVIILLLLL of GUI's.
(By the way, you can catch Dr. Gene Scott on at least two short-wave frequencies -- which I have forgotten -- but they are fairly close together -- I think a little below 6 MHz.)
