Sounds like Windows. How is the "automatic" startup run? Through dbstart script and rc command on Unix or services on Windows machine?

Hi,

We ran a test and renamed the machine name of one of our database servers and as a result the database does not automatically startup anymore.

Anybody know a way around this?
