all kinds of stuff - how about rollback segment space increasing - or if you are using comit=y then check the record count in your table. check the cpu and see if your process is using any. I like to use feedback=y option you could find out the session id of the process and then monitor the session to see if it's doing anything.

How can I find out if an import is dead or alive? I have an import of 1.6M+ rows that's been running for over 45 minutes.

Oracle 8.1.7.0.0
AIX 4.3.3 What can I check?

Thanks,
Saira
