Hi,

We are currently running Apps 11.5.7 on HP-UX with the app tier, admin tier, conc tier on an HP N class box with 4 CPU's and 10Gb of memory. We are looking at replacing that box with a big Intel based server running Redhat AS 2.1. Does anyone have any sizing guidelines for how big such a box would have to be? How does a 2.4 GHz Zeon compare to a 440 HMhz PA Risc 2.0 chip? Is memory utilization similar or does the RISC vs CISC create different memory usage characteristics? Any sites on the web?

TIA
