oracledbahi, friends:

What is the function of hangcheck in linux rac? I found in my rac system that when I issue : #lsmod, it showed that the module of hangcheck is unused, and i can rmmod that module while rac is running, and it seems rac is not impacted with the hangcheck module removed from kernel.

So, what on earth does the hangcheck do? Only when one system hangs that it reboot the other node? Can we start up oracm/rac without the hangcheck module loaded in?
	Please share your idear.

Thanks.
