RMAN does not require sysdba.

I can't recall the *exact* requirements at the moment, but the DBA role will work.

Hello,

If I understood correctly, rman requires sysdba to do backups. We schedule our rman backups in OEM, using the backup wizard. Is it possible for our DBA department to still use rman/OEM without them knowing the sysdba password?

Thanks.
