Hi List,

Database 8.1.7.4 on Sun Sparc solaris 2.6

Yesterday our sysadm tried to remove mirroring of one the hard disk on which we have our test database. At that time, instance crashed.

Then when I tried to restart the database, it gave me error that it needs media recovery for datafile rbs01.dbf. This database is in noarchive log mode. So I mounted the database and I dropped that datafile. Now it is giving me error for system datafile when I am opening the database. The error is

SVRMGR> alter database recover datafile '/datacrp_itw/crpitwdata/system04.dbf'; alter database recover datafile '/datacrp_itw/crpitwdata/system04.dbf' *
ORA-00283: recovery session canceled due to errors ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [3020], [16777403], [1], [2541], [161 41], [16], [], []
SVRMGR>

Tried to search metalink with ora-600 arguments but no luck. Any idea on this ?

Regards,

~Dilip
