AOA,
Working in a medical environment, does anybody know anything about connecting Oracle application with DICOM, (Digital Imaging and communications in Medicine)?

Images that are generated through X-RAYS, CT SCAN, MRIs are stored with DCM extension, and they communicate between their own machines using DICOM protocol. We have an Oracle application and want to incorporate images from such machines in our database or link them some how, so that when a doctor queries a certain patient from our application, he can view that patients' images stored in DCM format.

Just wanted to know if anyone has any idea regarding such thing.

Regards,

Hussain
