CPU used by this session vs CPU used when call started

I'm testing with these 2 statistics.
And at one instance (8.1.7.3 undex AIX 4.3.3) I'm getting very different values:

CPU used by this session 1841378588  

CPU used when call started 36211925  

I think the should be very similar.
May I be hitting bug 1286684?
I have set job_queue_processes > 1.

What could be the reason for this behavior?
