A little hard to answer given the information in your message. Perhaps you have only one cpu intensive job. HPUX shipps with top which can give you an idea of what's happening. If you have bought the optional performance monitoring software, Measureware, you can get a more detailed picture of what's going on. You might consider posting the output of ps -ef and we can tell you a little more about what is going on.

why on my hp-ux box ( with 2 cpu ) , I always see one cpu idle while other is being used at 90% .
