enterprise manager console and sqlplus worksheet can't work afer installed the development tools

I downloadd the developer suites from www.oracle.com such as jdeveloper. But after I installed it .my oracle enterprise manager console and sqlplus worksheet cant work which I installed before. Why ,and how to make them work .
