Hi

I think I did try this with 8.0.5 to 8.1.7 and remember it worked OK. You will have to upgrade the database afterwards. Just try on test and see if it bites.

i cloned ORADB1 on 8.1.6.0/win2k to ORADB2 (8.1.6.0/win2k) on another machine.
can i do the same from
ORADB1 on 8.1.6.0/win2k to ORADB2 (9.0.1./win2k) on another machine. is this possible ?
