9iR2 Oracle SGA Memory

Ok... with the changes to the "touch point" memory management methodology in 9i, I found myself wondering, Does Oracle still scan the equivalent of the LRU list to find free blocks,
and if so is it still called the LRU list, or has the name of this list been changed along with the architecture changes or has the architecture for assigning free memory changed completely? Anyone want to share some knowledge?
