 You may want to log in an iTAR to find out if this patch can be applied to 8.1.7.2. The note said it was for 8.1.7.4 and I have been applying it to only 8.1.7.4 software on our servers. Other lower versions of 8.1.7.x are not patched, as we are upgrading those databases to 8.1.7.4.

We are on v8.1.7.2 32-bit on IBM 4.3.3. I am not sure should we have to apply the 8.1.7.4 patch? Sometimes just read the note is very confusing, so just apply this patch to upgrade to 8.1.7.4?
