Guys,  

Here is an interesting dilemna. Support Oracle (On Unix and/or Windows) and SQL Server (on Windows) and idea is to come up with a common GUI interface for looking at logs, schedule jobs even if it means using crontab
-graphics for trend analysis
-GUI console
 

Any ideas on best architec. language for this?
