It was available in 8.1.7... I just implemented it in our APPS database and it is running 8.1.7.3

I'm not having much luck - I thought it was with 9i, but the new features guide doesn't list it. So now I'm trawling through old "new" features guides ... and thought some bright people out there might remember (faster than I can find it in a bunch of pdfs, web pages, etc.).
