I know Oracle in it's default configuration ain't scalable. Funny cause I know certain companies use Oracle thinking this is the solution to their database scalability problem. Only to be surprised when the DB stops working and then finding out later that the init.ora file needs to be edited for scalability. Oracle does not scale itself. It needs to be configured to scale. Why isn't Oracle scalable by default?
