Dennis:

Thanks very much for the suggestions. They will help me a lot. I have been working on the position for about two months now. It has everything I want - Oracle DBA, manufacturing, large company, and only 14 miles from my home.

I will be working for a small IT company but be on-site at their client. I should be signing my contract later this week and go to the client site next Monday to start learning from the departing DBA who is going on to another project. The position will be contract-for-hire.

I'll be able to say who it is after I sign my contract.
