I am looking for a quick and easy HW benchmark for an Oracle database.
Now, before everyone starts jumping on the word "benchmark", I just need something that can be setup in an hour or two, simulate 1 to 1 million transactions and 1 to 50 users with Insert/Update statements.
The benchmark is to be run on an HP PA-RISC HPUX machine and a Sun SPARC Solaris machine to get a quick-and-easy/dirty feel of the performance of the two processors.
