RE: Different Backups - A Comparative analysis

I don't believe RMAN does Oracle block level compression during the backup process. This was one of the original reasons Oracle support was giving SQLBT users trouble when they needed recovery support.

AFAIK SQLBackTrack can do a TABLE restore from the backup and RMAN can not do it.
