Dear gurus !
A ( maybe ) stupid question : I always thought that bitmapped indexes are bad for tables that undergo many DMLs agains them. Today i have came across an Oracle white paper, which says "modifications on tables with bitmap indexes can be done a lot faster than modifications with B-tree indexes.".
Can you please sched some light on the matter ? Thanks a lot.
Andrey,.
