If you need the answer, from someone who is unwilling to yield, you will have
to yield yourself.
This is the first thing I learnt on this list.
There are real experts on this list, and if you want an answer from them,
make sure that they don't direct the mail to trash even before reading it.
The use of accepted abbreviations like IMHO, BTW etc. must have been slang or
in-courteous or philosophically inacceptable some time back (who knows, I am
not old enough) but now its a part of the Professional Vocabulary.
It will take time, but pretty soon U, Ur, Plz etc will become a part of the
language.
Wait till that time.
