What you are referring to is an initialization parameter that is utilized by the mechanism of PUBLIC rollback segments. The default type of rollback segment is PRIVATE and they ignore the parameter. You are most likely utilizing PRIVATE rollback segments...

Do you know what problem you are trying to solve?
