Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Unable to load shared libraries libskgxp8.o
Hi All,
After installing oracle on Red Hat 8.0, when I try to run svrmgrl, I get the
eror
failed to load shared libraries libskgxp8.so. LD_LIBRARY_PATH and SHLIB_PATH
both are
set to $ORACLE_HOME/lib.
After looking up this error on Metalink, it seems to be a linking error.
I did the following.
make -f ins_rdbms.mk install from $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/bin and get the
following messages:u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/rdbms/lib/ksms.o
/bin/sh: line 1: cc: command not found
/usr/bin/ar: config.o: No such file or directory
make: *** [/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/rdbms/lib/config.o] Error 1
I also tried relink all and I get errors while linking ott.
Please help.
