I had to download and install the following packages to get the installer running.

compat_glibc-6.2-2.1.3.2.i386.rpm
compat_libs-6.2
compat_egcs-6.2

to get the installer running.

Thanks
Sumathy

Has any body got Oracle 817 working on Red Hat Linux 8.0 Personal Edition?

If yes, it would be great if you would let me know whether you had to install the glibc 6.2

Thanks
Sumathy
