Ping yourself and find out what your IP address is (or run netstat, etc....) say your IP is 122.33.22.126

now, on the server window type in:

export DISPLAY=122.33.22.126:0.0

Then, you need to make sure you are able to run an X session, so find xclock and run it.
If you get a clock up in your X session, you are pretty much ready to run the UI.
If you get a connection refused message you will need to talk to your Unix admin
about being able to run an X session from your client.
