Hi all,

My developers are using a 9iR2 client and need to run exports against a 9iR1 instance. Has anyone seen anything like this? I seem to remember a descussion at one point saying that it was possible to run the catexp from a later version in an earlier release and have this work. We would not need to use the 9iR2 exp/imp utilities, just the 9iR2 ones. I am in a Solaris8/Veritas Clustered environment, so I am trying to avoid having to install multiple clients (I need the 9iR2 client for access to OEM).

TIA, John P Weatherman
