Stephen,

Good idea. Whilst your at it you might want to consider moving your swap onto tape or CD/RW... Both formats have a better $/GB that disk, and surely no-one will notice the performance difference?

Divide the 39GB between all the desktops in the office (so yu can run the latest games) and you'll be the star of the company.

Oh silly me! I forgot there is really no difference between swap and RAM. Thanks for getting me straightened out. I'll try to get over to the data center and remove 39 gig of the 40 gig that is currently in the box.
