I'll admit that I have only lightly scanned the e-mails today so forgive me if somebody already brought this up:

5 14 * * * /usr/oracle/backup.ksh > /dev/null 2>&1

i.e. the redirects are wrong in the crontab. I don't think this would prevent the script from running, but your output will go: stderr to e-mail, stdout to bit bucket.
