I am still having mystery problems with our 9.2.0.2 on Solaris 9 - I have to set the optimizer_mode back to 8.1.7 to get any kind of response time from our Discoverer reports (9.2..0.53). I have Oracle consulting coming out Monday to see if they can find anything.

I've got 9i production databases. But they are brand-new applications. I haven't upgraded any of the 8i ones I have as yet, nor are there any plans to do so.

Isn't there an adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?"
