Our Data Warehouse application is using 8.1.7.3 of Oracle. We have been experiencing the following in our production database : "Errors in file /u00/app/oracle/admin/DWPROD/udump/ora_228316_dwprod.trc: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kkojocol:2], [], [], [], [], [], [], []"
that oracle support has determined are due to problems in the cost base optimizer with star_transformation. The query references 6 views and one table. As the application requires star_transformation, disabling this is not a viable circumvention. They have also suggested using _subquery_pruning_enabled=false, however, this appears to require a restart of the db and hence we have been unable to test this. They do not seem to know whether the problem exists in 8.1.7.4.

Has anyone else seen this and were you able to find another solution??? If needed, I can forward the query.

Thanks in advance!
