Parallel Server Option = TRUE

Hope someone can help me with this one.

I have just realized that PARALLEL SERVER = TRUE in v$option and I don't have an OPS instalation.

I've installed this Oracle code in a Unix Cluster that's why Oracle has installed this option automatically, I assume.

Can anyone tell me if there can be any problems in the instance because of the PARALLEL SERVER = TRUE and using a single instance database?

I don't know may be a problem with the DML_LOCKS or a problem with cursors or with the shared pool, etc...

thanks
