the DB is *not* experiencing any waits... i'm trying to bring down the run time of the
insertion process, currently it takes around 9 hrs... the management wants to bring it
down to 5-6 hrs...again.. i OD NOT see any wait events while the process is running..

there are no indexes on the tables
