I never tried it but I had read about it.

Although, you should *apparently* be able to load the 7.3.4 version of SCO on Linux - or maybe that's just an urban myth!

Yes, i remember installing the first version of 8 on Linux (hey I had some time on my hands) and it was a bit of a nightmare - back to the days when Oracle had 2 hits on metalink for Linux! ;-)

pre-release of 8.0.5 in 1998

where can I download this Oracle version from?
