What is wrong with this package? Pls. help

When we compile this package body, we are getting the error - PLS - 00323. Please help.

Platform: Solaris 7. Oracle 8.1.6.

Package is getting created without any errors.

When we try to compile package body we are getting the error

3/12     PLS-00323: subprogram or cursor 'CHECK_OK' is declared in a
         package specification and must be defined in the package body

Package:

CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE P1 is
  msg_g number(3);
  function check_OK (n1 in number)
   return number;
  procedure test;
end p1;

create or replace package body p1 as
function check_ok (nn in number) return number IS
KK number;
BEGIN
   KK := msg_g * nn;
   return KK;
   end check_ok;
procedure test as
  v1 number;
    begin
      null;
    end test;
end p1;
/
