Hi All,

We need to execute some unix commands from PL/SQL code of a trigger?

Can I do this just by using host command?

host /usr/ucb/mail -s "PROD_DB_DOWN" 6128805270_at_metrocall.com < /user/oracle/log/db_down_prod.lst

Is there any other way to do this?

Thanks,
Ashoke
