Peter;
  Just a side question .... is your Temp space defined as a Temp tablespace ?? or just a Tablespace named temp that is defined Permanant ??

My temp tablespace is showing full!! I try to wakeup smon thru oradebug wakeup 6; but getting error..I also used alter tablespace temp storage(pctincrease 0);..But it could't release space...any ideas to avoid bouncing the database???
