Send a help message to ListGuru_at_fatcity.com, ( e.g. put HELP ORACLE-L as the subject/body). This should return some useful info about the options available to you. While the engine running this list isn't ListServ, it probably has the same features, which include the option not to be sent you own posts, etc.

(Jared might be able to confirm this).
