Hi Tom,
My backup starts on BoxA. It uses the rman binary in BoxA. So I do 'connect target user/passwd_at_BoxB'.
Well I too thought that the backupset will be created in BoxA. Looks like backupsets gets created wherever the target db is. rgds,
