Rick,
It's stated on MetaLink that all Oracle services must be run with the same account.

To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L <ORACLE-L_at_fatcity.com> cc: Subject: TNS Listener error if Listener and OracleService not started with sameuser
Hi,
Oracle 8.1.6 Win NT 4. I am not sure of the exact error message TNS- but if the OracleService is started with one OS account and TNSListener is started with another OS account and error occurs when starting OracleService. If they are both the same user no error. Has anyone every heard of this? It is not a privs problem.
Thanks
Rick
