Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Logical Standby: Included with Standard?
This URL lists "Data Guard", the umbrella name for slew of high-availability features, as Enterprise-only:
http://technet.oracle.com/docs/products/oracle9i/doc_library/release2/server.920/a96653/toc.htm
However, it lists Standby Databases as included with Standard.
The manual that documents how to set up a logical standby database, however, is called "Data Guard Concepts and Administration".
So which is it!? :-)
Logical Standbies are included with Standard... or not included and available only with Enterprise?
Thanks,
Paul
