hi everybody ,
oracle provides guid function to generate unique ids . My question is should one use that guid for synthetic primary key .So you no longer need a sequence for generating unique values . Is it faster to do a search on number comapred to varchar2 if it is indexed . My just debating if i should use guid to for primary key .
