Right. The key is ORA_<SID>_PFILE.
Default it point to %ORACLE_HOME%\database\init<SID>.ora, which has (by default) one parameter IFILE='path_to_real_file' In this case IFILE parameter in V$PARAMETERS has value 'path_to_real_file'. Don't know what is the value of parameter when you have recursive IFILE entries.
