DBA's

Anyone using IBM's Shark storage solution? What is you're opinion?

I understand it uses raid 5 :-( with a big cache in front. I've talked to a couple of DBA's that are using them and they think they are great and haven't experienced any problems with poor performance (including write speed).

We've had a bad experience with Hitachi raid 5, salesman said it was great so the boss bought it.

Thanks
...JIM...
