Hi,

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I've been told to set up a 2 node Oracle database Cluster in a Solaris 8 environment in 1 day. I've never ever ever worked with or configured Parallel Server before. Before anyone tells me politely or otherwise to RTFMs ... I'm doing that!. I have 6 hours before I start strutting my stuff so I would appreciate if anyone could help me.

I just need to know whether installing and configuring parallel server is complicated. From the little I have read so far it seems so. Can you tell me what to watch out for?

Also, does anyone have any step by step guide to installing and configuring a parallel server environment. They just want test databases set up for BRT
(Business Readiness Testing).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Sujatha
