In our ecommerce databases:

  1. Interface with LDAP
  2. Email
  3. Query for product inventory/pricing via MQSeries
  4. Send customer orders to our fulfillment provider

So, we've finally taken the jump and are using JSPs (erm..."Java Stored Procedures", not "Java Server Pages") on 8.1.7.2.0.
