  1. You'd have to do a fresh *install* of 8.1.7 + Patchset 1 or higher on the F15K. Copying an OUI-installed ORACLE_HOME [and attempting to relink it] is not supported.
  2. You can copy the Database Files and just startup the database. [unless you change the mount points / directory names in which case you must do an ALTER DATABASE RENAME FILE before you OPEN the database].
