Tim, I'm an oracle DBA. You did an excellent job with the DBD driver for Oracle. Works like a charm! As far as MySQL is concerned, I'm far from being an expert. There is a good O'Reilly book about it, it comes with a ton of HTML documentation (of the kind that will survive even an attempt to open it with IE). I have never claimed to be a MySQL expert. I sort of like databases which can get installed on a filesystem which has less then 4GB of free space.
